About

Module 3: Fintry Octagonal Barn Fintry’s octagonal dairy barn is believed to be the last standing eight-sided barn in BC and one of only a few in Canada. Dun-Waters again contracted John J. Honeyman to design and build the barn in 1924, requesting this innovative design to house his Ayrshire cattle. In 2024 we celebrated its 100th centennial birthday! Prerequisite - To be able to take this course you must have successfully completed the previous 2 modules: Module 1: Tour Guide Training Module 2: The Manor House Upon successful completion of this course you are able to complete: Module 4: Fintry History
