Volunteer with Us: Afternoon Tea Bakers & Servers

Our Afternoon Teas are a beloved tradition at the Fintry Estate, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help bring these special days to life. If you enjoy baking, hosting, or working behind the scenes, we’d love to have you join our team.

 

Baking Volunteers

Do you love to bake? We’re looking for volunteers to prepare treats featured on our Afternoon Tea menu. Items can be made at home and delivered, or prepared onsite depending on your comfort level.

What we’re looking for:

  • Reliable home bakers

  • Ability to follow our recipe guidelines (provided)

  • Occasional or regular contributions welcome

  • Perfect for those who prefer to help from home

 

 

Afternoon Tea Service & Kitchen Volunteers

If you enjoy interacting with guests or working as part of a team, this role may be a great fit.

​

Roles include:

  • Serving tea and baked goods

  • Assisting guests with seating

  • Light kitchen assistance (plating, prep, cleanup)

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Friendly, helpful volunteers

  • Comfortable working in a fun social setting

  • No experience necessary as we’ll guide you

There are over 200 Friends, mostly from the Okanagan Valley but some come from as far away as California and Scotland.
